Announcements:

Mark Leonard – Sat, Apr 2, 1-4pm, Fundraiser for Dr Fred Simon, Home of Mark & Julie Leonard. RSVP to Mark, 775-303-6539.

Nicol Herris – 1)    NV Election Integrity meeting, Monday, March 28, 3-4:00 pm 3502 S. Virginia #A2     2)    Apr 6, NWLA, see “Comin Soon” section above.  3) Jim Marchant – 4/14 Atlantis RWR meeting                    4)   Unsilenced by Epoch Times, $10 Spirit filled Church    5) Cinco de Mayo event at GSR April 30-May 1 with community booth with candidates, cand’s literature, voter reg, all our issues.

Caroline Smith – Campaign Sidekick Data Agreement.

Melissa Clement – Nevada Right to Life. Minor seeking at least one parent’s consent before an abortion is performed on the minor. Not needed now, but a State Initiative is in the works and Melissa needs help to get signatures. NV Rght to Life, under her signature, is being sued by Planned Parenthood and Melissa needs some $$ help too.  Parental rights are being dissolved every minute. It’s not enough to sign the initiative, we must also elect people who will implement these policies. NV Right to Life – big fundraiser – May 5 at Reno Ballroom (Silver Legacy).

Sandra Linares – May 15 – Dos Amigas Ranch, Reclaim Nevada Festival, $10.  More candidates, more vendors.  Apr 25 – Dos Amigas Ranch, fundraiser for Monica Jaye

Jim Benthin – WCRA Endorsing Convention to endorse candidates pre-Primary.

Lynn Chapman – friend who cannot come to the meetings here, but he’s asked that she bring forth some ideas he had. Republicans in CA are going to gas stations to re-register voters who are paying too much for gas and are fed up. Spanish-speaking people are voting and they need to understand what the Dem Party really stands for (abortion) and if explained in Spanish, they might want to be Rs instead.

Eugene Gerscovich – Brigitte Gabriel’s ACT organization is doing election integrity and perhaps we should look into teaming up with them.   https://www.actforamerica.org/civicrm/petition/sign?sid=18&reset=1

Discussion:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        County Convention Update – Cindy Martinez provided us a report that 231 credentialed members were present and 397 were elected to the new Central Committee. The Convention planning was originally set up by Robert & Nicole Beadles. Others followed up to the successful conclusion of the Convention. The discussion was vibrant and pertinent. There were 9 Resolutions (8 of which were passed after most of them were amended) and a lengthy Platform, which was amended many times as well.

County Commission Update – several contributed to the explanation of the horrible decision of the Commission yesterday to reject in toto the 20-point Resolution on Election Integrity that had been crafted by Commissioner Jeanne Herman. There were several key points on said Resolution that, if argued separately (instead of as a whole document), were good and might have yielded a positive response from the Commissioners. But the Left brought in Californians (who were likely paid) to speak at the mic about Washoe County election integrity. They outnumbered us and they only focused on the issues of anyone who wanted election integrity was surely a racist. The public commenting on the Resolution lasted from 10am to 6:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break, before they voted to reject the entire Resolution, public be damned.

Cindy Martinez – let us know that the Feb 22 agenda items addressed who would be working the elections and the $$ allocations for same. Palm Beach, FL and out of LV. This is a global economy and it is no different than Macy’s being located in NY, but having a store in Reno. The temp agencies base may be elsewhere, but have promised to hire and staff elections with WC residents who are registered to vote.

Commissioner Jeanne Herman got up to thank people for showing up and fighting the good fight. She is most grateful.

Kenji Otto – running for County Clerk, has a 20 year military background. Does lots of research and tries to help neighbors and a lot of people. Will put together those skills together as County Clerk. In Washoe, our elections are handled by an appointee from the County Commission. Kenji would push for the elections to be moved to be under the Clerk, who is elected and where it is in most other counties. Has suggested to Commissioners to split the database to an active and inactive database, rather than everyone on active status. Lobbyist organizations are always visiting our commissioners meeting. Care & Action (a coalition of domestic workers) has the motto: “relentless drive and tenacity to do whatever it takes to deliver our actions and solutions”.  People in power are not listening to you. Www.voteotto.com or www.vote4otto.com

Linda Allen – let us know to go to https://armstrongeconomics.com for great updates on what is going on behind the scenes politically and economically.

Juanita Cox – let us know another good site is www.x22report.com.

Nicôl Herris – gave us an inspiring pep talk that this is war and we cannot shirk our duties to speak out and defend our freedoms. We probably have this one election left before our country is lost and this is the time to dig in and not back away… to turn our backs on our Party.

Next Meeting – Wed, April 13, same time, same place.
