“CTL News” Powerpoint Presentation

1)      Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton on just learning the CIA was involved in the Jan 6, 2021 event. (6:39)

2)     A side of Trump the media will never show you.  (:35)

3)     The greatest video of Donald Trump you will ever see! (8:38)

Victoria Myer – candidate for School Board, District D (South of 80 and East of 395). Schools are broken and Victoria neverthought she’d be running for office, but she has 5 children who attended schools and she homeschooled hers from jr high on. Diversity is more than the color of your skin, diversity of ideas, diversity of thought, but all we hear and see is one thought. Equity is not what our Founders wanted for us. It should be equality. She wants to restore parental authority to its proper role, restoring authority to its proper role, restoring books (all materials to be available without restriction of age). Give kids an environment where they can learn…. Safe from indoctrination, safe from violence, safe from drugs. Change the old guard. We are not using the laws we already have.

Bev Stenehjem – running for WCSD District E (Somersett, Verdi, Kings Row, UNR, Panther Valley) – Mom, Grandmother, your neighbor. Retired from Human Resources in the Bay Area, has worked in team management. In agreement with Victoria. Our schools are in big trouble. NV State Dept of Ed has score cards… 8 yrs ago, 65-68% proficient in Math. Now about 22% proficient in Math. The trajectory is downward. If you care about the well-being in our State and County, you have to vote. The incumbents are entrenched. Battleborn Moms of NV did a study and found that schools started to get ranked about 8 yrs ago on SEL (Social-Emotion Learning). We need to get the focus back on core issues. Platform: 1) quality of education / basics of academics; 2) school safety – violence on campuses is rampant… restorative justice has replaced discipline and sends them back to the classroom after a talking-to; 3) parent-teacher communication and partnership… Administrative Provision 5161 prevents the teacher/counselor from talking to the parents when a child is gender-confused. This needs to be changed.

Jeff Church – Candidate (and incumbent) for School Board, District A. Last night, at the WCSD Board meeting, Jeff took Beth Smith to task for setting him up with a false sexual harassment claim. A whistle blower who was present on the scene has stepped forward and is speaking out. In Jeff’s race, also running are Stephanie Flores, a Republican, and Christine Hull, Beth Smith’s hand-picked fave.

How to help Jeff? Get on social media, do your own research, write letters to the Editor. Get on NextDoor, X, Facebook, whatever.  watchdogjeff on X. Jeffchurch on NextDoor.

Paul White – running for School Board G (At-Large, west Reno) – started a podcast called “Get Schooled” last week and today YouTube decided they weren’t going to run it.

He was in LA County Unified in a ramshackle school full of at-risk druggies and violent teens. He turned around 12 schools. The admin was corrupt in the worst possible way and there was absolutely no justice. Why would anyone endorse Beth Smith when she is as corrupt as can be? The Teachers Union supports her.

Kids don’t show up; kids don’t show up clean and sober; behavior/violence is off the charts; of course the learning is in the tank. What has the district done? Instead of addressing the problem, they have come up with excuses and cover-ups.

Parents cannot come into the classroom unannounced. They must have an appointment and an escort., 775-685-8200

Donald Fossum – Speaking on behalf of Dr. Jeff Gunter for US Senate. He was an Ambassador to Iceland under Trump and is likely to be endorsed by Trump. Please go to his website,, to learn about the issues that are important to Dr Gunter and to all of us.

Janet Butcher – at the WCSD meeting, another interesting meeting. They spent a good 30 minutes talking about what they were going to talk about. They will be narrowing down to 5 people soon for the Superintendent position. They have hired a new search company, when they actually have a guarantee from the prior company, whom they should be using for a free search instead of spending more taxpayers’ money.

Next Meeting – Wed, Apr 24, same time, same place.
