Pledge of Allegiance
Announcements

Jim Falk – Sat, June 12, 11:30-4pm Central time (2 hours ahead of us, so 9:30am-2:00pm our time). Huge rally in Wisconsin with Mike Lindell, Don Trump, Jr., Diamond & Silk, Dinesh D’Souza, Sheriff David Clarke, Charlie Kirk and others.  Tune in via Right Side Broadcasting Network (rsbnetwork.com), Newsmax.com, other patriotic sites. https://home.frankspeech.com/event/maga-frank-rally-somerset-wisconsin-june-12-2021

Lynn Chapman – Nevada Families will have its newsletter out this next week. Lots to report about the good, the bad and the ugly of the legislative session.

Bill Tarbell – 1) Bill told us about the American College of Pediatricians, which is a socially conservative advocacy group of pediatricians and other healthcare professionals. Right now there is a campaign against the UN’s “gender diversity” program for youth in schools. Please go to American College of Pediatricians (acpeds.org) and join for access to great articles and to support an organization that advocates for children, youth and adolescents in these trying times. 2) The world’s population is in trouble. China is suffering a demographic decline after its 1-child policy for decades, lifted it to 2 children a year or so ago and just recently to 3 children. 3) Bill has written an article called “Witch Hunt” based on a family member marrying the child of a woman who was put to death as a result of the witch trials in the 17th Century in New England. It was found out that the pastor of the church was heavily involved in that and they sent a letter that ultimately relieved him of his pulpit. In Bill’s article, he mentions 6 items, all of which are being advocated in public schools right now. It’s an issue of fixed orientation (Critical Race Theory is putting us all in little boxes of identity), dictating who we are, what we think and taking away our choices.

RWR Brigade Workshop, Fri, June 25. 9:00-11:30. Vassar-Cordone Bldg, 1301 Vassar. $11 includes breakfast. Learn about the Education Brigade speaking out at the School Board each meeting. Or the County Commission Brigade lighting up the County Commission each meeting. Find out about updates on bills passed this last legislative session. Learn what the 2nd Amendment, Election Fairness, Veterans and Communications Brigades are doing. Come listen and learn and it’s not too late to join a Brigade that speaks to your heart. www.republicanwomenofreno.wildapricot.org.

Discussion
Capt. Sam Brown – West Point grad, hails from a small town in Arkansas, was taught the love and honor of service to country from an early age. Sam brought us a message of hope; we are kindred spirits in truth. A military coin from Ft. Riley, KS (home of the Big Red #1 Infantry Division) with words on it “No mission too difficult; no sacrifice too great. Duty First” has guided Sam’s life.
He went to West Point the summer after 9/11 and became an infantry officer. There are challenges we choose and life presents suffering that isn’t chosen. When an IED exploded his Hum-Vee in Afghanistan serving his country, Sam found himself engulfed in flames and in the middle of a challenge he didn’t choose at 24 years old.
Amid the flames and thoughts that he would die, he heard his gunner say, “Sir, I’ve got you.”  We’ve all had suffering we didn’t choose; it all depends on what you do with it.
He’s tired of bureaucrats running our country versus those who were elected. He’s tired of spineless politicians. Capt Sam Brown is running for US Senate against Catherine Cortez Masto.  Find out more about Sam at his website, captainsambrown.com. There will be a major campaign kick-off July 10, so watch this spot for it.

Cathy Kennedy Reyes – running for School Board District B, currently held by Ellen Minetto. She is against Critical Race Theory and she is tough as nails and won’t back down. She is former law enforcement, knows what she is up against and is ready for the battle. She supports the 3 Rs of education (Reading, Writing, Arithmetic) and equality for all students (not equity).  Her website is under construction, but will be up and running soon, www.SaveWCSD.com

Roger Edwards – running for School Board District C, currently held by Andrew Caudill who is stepping down. We all know Roger’s long-standing commitment to Republican ideals.

Bruce Parks – running for School Board District C also. Bruce and Roger are not running against each other, although it may seem so. They have a strategy. In positions that are non-partisan, as School Board is, the top 2 vote-getters in the Primary move forward to the General. We would LOVE to have our two guys move forward.

Jeff Church – Yesterday’s WCSD meeting went 12 hours and ended at 1AM.  The good news is that Critical Race Theory (CRT) got pushed back to 2022. They voted to establish a task force, but the method for choosing said task force was objectionable to Jeff, so he was the only No vote.  It passed 6-1 and now only Superintendent Kristin McNeill will be choosing those on the task force. It is most certainly only going to be those who are very supportive of CRT, so we all know the “fix” is in.

John Eppolito – Thanks to Jeff Church, Infinite Campus was removed from the Agenda. Board policy 4500 will be discussed at next Tuesday’s meeting, June 15. Policy 4500 re-defines what teachers can and cannot say by re-defining what is political speech and what is learning. John passed out a copy of an email from Superintendent McNeill to teachers in WCSD.  “We invite you to engage your students in dialogues about the relationship between white supremacy, white privilege, racism and police violence in a developmentally and socially responsive way…” There is more and for the full document, email John:  john@jtahoe.com.

Karen England of Nevada Family Alliance – Essentially a Board policy that passed yesterday says that if something is posted (BLM, LGBTQ) in a classroom, it cannot be for political purposes. But pretty much anything can be posted for learning purposes. Here is an article about it.  https://thisisreno.com/2021/03/school-board-argues-hours-over-revision-of-policy-on-employee-speech/

Karen also talked about Center for Renewing America, which has a blueprint to follow to combat Critical Race Theory.  https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2021/06/08/conservative-think-tank-provides-guide-to-help-fight-critical-race-theory-in-schools/

Valerie White – There is a teacher at Wooster HS named Joe Hunt. He has authored anti-Trump, anti-American, anti-Christ books and is giving extra credit to his students for reaching them.

Tom Heck – candidate for Governor. Tom was pleased that so many of us are fired up and going to School Board meetings. For a long time, he feared Republicans don’t play as rough or as dirty as Democrats, so he’s happy we’re acting out.

Businesses don’t pay taxes… they just pass them on to the consumers to pay them. Tom is a US Air Force Academy grad and served for 22 years on active duty. He also ran the logistics for the Reagan Ballistic Missile test site in the South Pacific and has served as town managers for several small municipalities.

He’s a Constitutionalist, a truth-teller, wants to MAGA and Make Nevada Great Again. He is weary of the vocal minority being listened to and catered to by politicians, at the expense of the majority. He supports educational vouchers.

Please go to www.thomasheck.org and learn more about Tom, his vision for our state and consider donating to his campaign.

Affidavit / Notice of Maladministration delivered to Gov Sisolak’s office Monday.  One of the gals who delivered it was Mindy Robinson (LV) and this is her post on GAB stated:
It’s not about pushing for a certain party or wanting one candidate to win over the other, it’s about making sure our votes matter. Unlike a lawsuit where it would be our job to prove anything, these affidavits remind the state that its actually their job to prove to us their wasn’t fraud. They are bound by the constitution to look into investigating if we suspect something, and I don’t think people realize that. We the People of Nevada have legitimate questions about this election that the powers that be are being very combative about answering. Why did counting stop? Why weren’t poll watchers allowed to be close enough to observe? Why did dead people get ballots? Who certified these machines before the election? I just find it odd that CNN, ABC, and even top level Dems like Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris all believed these machines were easily hackable and a danger to our Republic….right up until they got the result they wanted? We just want to know if our votes mattered and it’s 100% on the state to prove it to us if we petition them…which we just officially did.

The affidavit quotes several powerful and binding sections of their state constitution including: Article 2 Section 1 and Section 1A:
To have complaints about elections and election contests resolved fairly, accurately and efficiently as provided by law.”

As well as Nevada Constitution Article 1 Section 2:
Government is instituted for the protection, security and benefit of the People; and they have the right to alter or reform the same whenever the public good may require it.
When asked how others can be part of demanding an audit, Robinson stated that they can fill out the same affidavit they did, have it notarized, and certify mail to the addresses included in the PDF the DC Patriot has included at the bottom of this article. Certified mail costs about $7 an address, but several affidavits can be included in each mailing if people wanted to get mail theirs together to save money. She ends it by stating, “They have to answer to this, and the more people that participate the less they can pretend they have a right to ignore it” she continued, “We’re asking these people to investigate themselves…of course they’re not going to do it willingly, unfortunately for them though their job is to answer directly to the People.”

Here is the Affidavit for Notice of Maladministration.  Feel free to copy it, change NAME, ADDRESS at the top to your name and your address and send it to the powers that be listed on the last page. It is recommended to send it Certified, Return Receipt Requested, which is about $7/each.  Click HERE for the editable Affidavit.

King Buffet – Due to an increase in the cost of food and wait staff, King Buffet will be forced to increase their pricing to us to $17.50/per person, beginning in July.

Next Meeting – Wednesday, June 23, 2021, 11:00 for food, 11:30-1:00pm meeting.
King Buffet, 3650 Kietzke.
